Pixel 3 has been one of the best android smartphone on 2018. But the price was too high according to its specs. As a result Google was failing to lead its hardware market. So Google launched a new pixel phone. It is also the lite version of Pixel 3. It is called the Pixel 3a. So without any furthermore discussion, lets talk about its specification and price
Pixel 3a Specification:
Display: Pixel 3a has a 5.6 inch gOLED display. Here it is undefined that what is gOLED means and what are the differences between gOLED and the regular OLED display. But it is true that gOLED has a better viewing angle than the Pixel 3's OLED display. This is surely a good choice and a very good start from Google. The Pixel 3a xl has a larger display that is 6 inch.
Design and Body: In the previous Pixel 3 , we saw a glass back design in the rear panel. But it is a sorrow news that this time Google used a poly carbonate finish. Which is mainly a kind of Plastic. But thanks to its two tone color choice and the same colorful power button.
Camera and storage: Though the Pixel 3a is the lite version of the pixel 3 but camera are all the same. Nothing has changed yet. The rear camera is 12.2 mega pixel with f2.2 aperture and the selfie camera is a 8 mega pixel with f1.8 aperture. But it is a good news that this device is capable of to hold all the camera features of the Pixel 3. That means you can get Night Sight, Super Res Zoom, Top Shot , Portrait etc. In addition you will get the Avengers Emoji feature, which is pretty cool. In terms of storage, nothing has changed really. There are two varients 4gb ram 64 gb rom and 4gb ram 64gb rom. You have also a good news that you wont have to worry about the storage to store your photos and videos. Pixel 3a will give you unlimited storage to manage your photos.
Processor: It is a sad news from Google that they have used Snapdragon 670 processor in Pixel 3a.It could have been better if they used a Snapdragon 700 series processor at the same price. In the Pixel 3a xl you will get Snapdragon 710 octa core processor.
Software: Google has made a very good decision to use latest android 9 Pie on the Pixel 3a. Beside this, you will also get 3 years of auto update of security and software. That means you will get auto update of upcoming android Q, R,S update. Again you will get the AR view Google maps. That is going to be super easy for travellers to find any place.
Price: Google Pixel 3a costs only $399 whereas the Pixel 3a xl costs $679. If you put off the processor beside then I think all the other things given in that smartphone are very higher level and they perform flagship level performance. So this phone would be a great choice if you do not use this for professional gaming.
